Our office is located at 103 Banneraghatta Road, in that building people call Everest. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, but we’re used to the Nehru Road pace by now. If you are looking for us, we are right near the Nandi Woods Apartments, which is a massive place that everyone knows. Bannerghatta Road is always a mess with traffic, especially in the evenings when everyone is trying to get home. We spend a lot of our time inside these walls just keeping up with the daily tasks. It’s not a large office, just enough space for a few tables, some chairs, and a lot of files that seem to grow every week. A N Madhukar & Company has been operating out of here for some time. The windows look out towards the main road, so we see the city moving all day long. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the horns honking, but we mostly block it out. We don’t have a fancy reception or anything like that. When someone walks in, they usually just see us working at our desks. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes the paperwork gets the better of us. It’s a straightforward place where we handle our business without much fuss. We usually close up once the streetlights come on and the traffic starts to thin out a little bit before we head home.
