A N B Tyres

If you go down Krishnarajendra road toward Oblappa Garden, you will find A N B Tyres. We are right near the Tata Silk Farm area. It is a place that smells like heavy rubber and grease most of the time. I have been working with tyres here for a long while. My hands are usually a bit dirty by the time ten o’clock rolls around. We have stacks of tyres all over the place, some new and some old. It can be a bit of a maze if you don’t know where you are going. The shop is right on the main road so we get a lot of dust from the passing buses and cars. I spend my day lifting things and checking the treads on different wheels. It is physical work and my back sometimes hurts at night. We have a small bench where customers can sit while they wait, but most people just stand around and chat while we work. The Tata Silk Farm neighborhood is a good spot to be. There are plenty of tea stalls nearby for when I need a quick break to stretch my legs. It is a straightforward business. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights. We just have the tyres people need and the tools to fix them. KR road is always busy, so there is never a quiet moment. I usually keep a radio playing in the background to help the time pass by faster.
