A F Motors is tucked away at 28 Shivaji Nagar on Satara Road. We’re right near the old Elgin Theatre, which is how most people find us. It’s a garage, so it’s greasy and there are always parts lying around. We’ve been working on cars here for quite some time. It started out small and stayed that way, which is fine by us. We deal with engines, brakes, and all the usual things that go wrong with vehicles. Some cars are easy to fix, and others make us want to pull our hair out. That’s just how mechanics goes. The shop isn't shiny. It smells like oil and old tires. We have a few regulars who have been bringing their cars to us for years. They know we just tell it like it is. If something is broken, we say so. If it’s not worth fixing, we tell them that too. Shivaji Nagar is a busy area, especially with the theater nearby, so there's always traffic and noise outside. We just stay focused on what’s under the hood. Sometimes we’re short-staffed and things take an extra day, but we get it done eventually. It’s just us working with wrenches and getting our hands dirty every day. We usually close up when the sun goes down and start again the next morning.
