Mahaveer Jewellers

You can find us at No-30 in the Honnagamgappa Comlex, right on Magdi Main Road. We are sitting right next to Sanvilay Patel College, so there are always students and teachers walking past our door. Mahaveer Jewellers has been in this spot for quite some time. It’s a small shop, but we’ve packed a lot into it over the years. We spend our days looking at small pieces of metal and stones under the lamp. It’s quiet work, but the road outside is always loud with buses and cars. People stop in because they saw the sign while waiting for the bus or because they go to the college next door. We don’t have a huge staff, just a few of us who know the trade. We deal with repairs and small sales mostly, things people need for everyday wear or for a small gift. The complex isn't the newest building, but it’s a good location for us. We know the other shop owners around here pretty well. Sometimes we sit out front when the sun starts to go down and talk to the neighbors. It’s a simple way to earn a living. We aren’t trying to be like those big showrooms in the city center. We just want to keep the shop open and serve the people who walk down Magdi Main Road. It’s a bit dusty sometimes with all the traffic, but we keep the glass clean.
