312 Studio Architects

You can find us at number 312 in Banashankari 3rd Stage. The studio is named after the door number, which made things easy when we were setting up. It’s a straightforward space with white walls and a few long benches where we do our work. Banashankari is a nice part of town, and it feels a bit more settled than the center of the city. We spend our days dealing with a lot of paperwork and digital models. The printer is almost always running, spitting out floor plans and elevation drawings that we then have to roll up and label. We have a small corner with a kettle for making coffee, which is pretty essential during the long stretches in the afternoon. The floor is concrete, and we’ve got some plants near the window that probably need more water than they get. We aren’t really into the corporate vibe. We’re just a group of people who enjoy drawing and figuring out how buildings come together. We talk to the local vendors, deal with the site visits, and come back here to put it all down on paper. There’s a lot of back and forth between the desks when we’re trying to solve a problem with a layout. We just try to get the work done right and keep the office running smoothly without too much fuss.
