Youth For Good Foundation

Our place is at No. 46 on Cubbon Road. It’s one of those parts of town everyone knows because it’s so central. Being on Cubbon Road means we get to see a lot of the city's movement every day. The building itself is pretty straightforward. We don't have big flashing signs or anything like that. It’s just an office where we spend our hours getting through the paperwork and the tasks on our list. It can be a bit loud with the traffic sometimes, but you get used to the sound of the city after a week or two. We like the fact that it’s easy for people to reach us since the bus stops and other transport aren't too far away. It’s a practical location for a foundation like ours. We don’t have a lot of bells and whistles. Inside, it’s just desks, some chairs, and a lot of coffee cups. We aren't here to impress anyone with decor. We just needed a stable spot to base ourselves, and No. 46 worked out for us. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work. It’s an honest sort of space. No one is wearing suits or pretending to be something they aren't. We just show up, do the work that’s in front of us, and go home. We have been here for a while and the location is definitely the best part about it.
