Yfi Charitable Foundation

Yfi Charitable Foundation is situated at 40/4 on the 5th Main Road in Kumara Park West. This part of Bangalore is actually quite nice because of all the old trees and the way the light hits the road in the late afternoons. Our office is a bit tucked away, which we don't mind at all. It is a quiet spot for us to handle the foundation's business without too many distractions. We aren't one of those big organizations with a hundred employees and a PR department. It is just a few of us here on 5th Main Road. We have some computers that are a couple of years old and a coffee maker that works when it feels like it. The walls are a plain color and we don't have any of those motivational posters you see in big companies. We just have our work and each other. Being in Kumara Park West means we are close to everything but still feel like we have a little bit of breathing room. We try to keep things simple and honest. If a pipe leaks or the internet goes down, we are the ones who have to fix it ourselves. There is no maintenance crew on standby. It is a very hands-on way to run a charitable foundation, but it is the only way we know how to do it. We just focus on the day-to-day things that really need doing here for the foundation.
