You will find us at No. 3, Kno. 8/116/4A in Munnekolal. This is over in the Bangalore North area. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of people moving in and out for work. We deal mostly in threads. If you walk into our place, the first thing you see are the rows and rows of thread spools. They come in every color you can think of. We spend a lot of time matching shades and checking the strength of the fibers. It’s a small space but we make it work. The shelves go all the way to the ceiling. We have to use a shaky ladder to reach the top ones. The floor is usually covered in little bits of lint. We try to keep it organized but when someone is looking for a specific blue, we end up pulling out ten different boxes. It’s a hands-on job. We talk to a lot of tailors and garment makers who need specific supplies. Sometimes we just sit and count stock for hours. It’s quiet work mostly. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just have our inventory and our customers who come by. The traffic in Munnekolal can be a bit much, but we are used to it by now. It’s just part of being in this part of town. We stay busy with the local demand and keep the spools spinning.
