We’ve been tucked away on the seventh floor of Devatha Plaza for a while now. If you know Residency Road, you know how it gets with the traffic and the noise, but up here at number 703, it’s actually not too bad. There are a few of us who show up every morning, grab some tea from the shop downstairs, and just get to work. Most of the day is spent on the phone or staring at spreadsheets because that is just the nature of what we do at Workforce Dynamics Private Limited. It’s not a fancy setup with glass walls or anything like that. We have some old desks and chairs that have seen better days, but they work just fine for us. People come in and out for meetings, and sometimes the lift takes forever to get to level seven, so we end up taking the stairs if we’re in a hurry. It’s a pretty basic operation. We handle a lot of the back-end stuff that businesses don’t want to deal with, like sorting out personnel files and making sure people are in the right spots. We don't really have a big marketing team, just us doing our bit. Most of the guys here have been living in this part of Bangalore for years, so we’re used to the pace. It’s a lot of mundane work, but it keeps the lights on and we’ve gotten pretty decent at it over time.
