Our place, Western Coffee Curers & Exports Privatelimited, is tucked away in the Ravishankar Residency Road area. Specifically, we are at Flat No. 201 in the Sreeranga building on the 3rd Cross. It’s a quiet residential part of Sanjeevininagar, which is nice when things get hectic. We deal with coffee curing and getting it ready for export. Coffee is a big part of life here. The office isn't anything special to look at, just where we keep the records and talk to the growers. Most of the real work happens with the beans, but the administrative side is all done from this flat. It’s a bit unusual being in an apartment building, but it keeps our costs down and let's us focus on the coffee quality. We spend a lot of time checking batches and making sure things are sorted right. The smell of coffee is usually around if you know what to look for. We’ve been at this for some time now. Being in Sanjeevininagar means we aren't stuck in the middle of the heavy city noise all the time. It's just a handful of us here making sure the exports go out on time. We don't have fancy signs or a reception desk. It’s more of a workspace where we manage the supply chain and talk to the curers. It’s hard work but we enjoy the process of seeing the coffee go from the farm to the container.
