Our office is in Mvr Layout, which is over in the Horamavu area of Bangalore. We are at number 11/4. It is actually quite nice being a bit away from the main rush of the city. We handle various building and structural projects. It is a simple setup with a couple of desks and a lot of material samples like bricks and tiles scattered around the room. The dust from the road nearby can be a bit of a problem, but we have gotten used to it over the years. We are not a massive company with hundreds of employees. It is just a handful of us making sure that each project moves along as it should. We spend a lot of our time on the phone talking to suppliers. The prices of steel and cement seem to change every week, which is a constant headache for our planning. We try to keep our overheads as low as possible so we can stay competitive. It is a lot of hard work and we often put in very long hours. My brother manages the site visits while I stay back in the office to handle the administration and permits. It is a local business through and through. We do not have a PR team or any fancy advertising. We just focus on building things that are solid and hope that the work speaks for itself in the long run.
