We set up our business at Brahamagiri Nilaya, which is on the 1st Cross in Maruti Layout. It’s right off the Dasarahalli Main Road in the Hebbal area. Being in Bangalore North is good because we are close to the main transport routes, even if the road gets a bit bumpy near our entrance. We work with different kinds of foods and drinks. Our team is small, mostly just a couple of people who handle the orders and one person who looks after the books. The space isn't huge, so we have to be very organized about where we put the crates and boxes. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers, trying to make sure things arrive on time. Sometimes they don’t, and then we have to scramble to fix the schedule. It’s just the way it goes here. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person. We just focus on what's in front of us. Most days, you'll find us moving things around or checking the seals on the beverage bottles. We have a small table where we sit for lunch and talk about the weekend. It’s a simple life. We don’t try to be anything we aren't. We just want to make sure the inventory is correct and the customers get what they asked for without any mistakes.
