Our shop is tucked away at Number 26 on the 5th Main in Chikkalasandra. If you know Hanumagirinagar, you know it’s mostly houses and a few small businesses like ours mixed in. We’re over in Bsk 3rd Stage, which is a busy enough part of Bangalore, but our specific cross stays relatively calm compared to the main roads. We spend most of our days dealing with lift parts and scheduling maintenance visits. The office is full of heavy manuals and spare buttons or cables waiting to be used. It’s not the cleanest place because, well, elevators are greasy machines. Someone is usually out on a site visit while one or two of us stay back to answer the phone or fix something on the workbench. We’ve been in this spot for a bit, and the neighbors know us by now. It’s a straightforward operation where we just focus on getting the work done so people aren’t stuck using the stairs. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time finding the 3rd A Cross, so we often have to stand out on the corner to wave them down. It’s just how things go around here. We don't have a big fancy showroom, just a functional space where we keep our tools and parts organized as best as we can. It’s honest work that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday.
