Our office is over on Richmond Road, right in the middle of the city at Sparten Heights. We occupy H No 101 in the B Block. It’s an older building, so it has its quirks, like the lift acting up sometimes. Living and working in the 560025 area means we are close to everything, but it also means we deal with a lot of noise. We handle special food and beverage items, which basically means a lot of checking dates and storage conditions. It’s not a massive operation, just a handful of us sitting in the office or moving through the storage area. We started this because we knew the area well and saw an opportunity to set up shop here. The 16/17 Richmond Road address is easy for people to find once they get past the main gate. Most of our time goes into coordinating with distributors and making sure the stock is where it needs to be. We drink a lot of coffee while staring at spreadsheets. Sometimes the phone doesn't stop ringing and other times it's quiet enough to hear the traffic outside. We don't have a PR team or anyone like that. We just write our own notes and keep our own books. It’s a bit messy sometimes, with boxes piled up in the corner, but we know where everything is. We just want to keep things running without too much fuss and make sure the supplies go out on time.
