Our business, Vishal Ln Textiles And Garments Industry Private Limited, is located at No.2, Vagdhan Nilaya. We are in the Aravind Layout in Somashettihalli, which is near the Chikkabanavara Post. This area is on the outskirts of Bangalore, so it’s much more relaxed than the city center. We operate out of a building that fits right into the residential layout. It doesn't look like a big industrial plant from the outside, but inside we have everything we need to produce textiles and garments. We started this because we knew how to handle the machines and wanted to do something for ourselves. There are no big bosses in suits here. We are usually in our work clothes, helping with the packing or checking the fabric for flaws. The layout is quiet, mostly families living nearby, so we try not to make too much noise late at night. Our setup is simple. We have a few rooms for different stages of the work, from cutting to final stitching. It’s a small-scale operation, but we stay quite busy with the orders that come in. We don't do much marketing or have a website with a lot of photos. People usually find us by word of mouth or because they live in the Chikkabanavara area. We just try to do an honest day’s work and keep the machines running without too much trouble. It’s a steady life for us.
