Veyil Foundation

Veyil Foundation is located at house number 52/1/13. We are on the ground floor, which makes it easy for people to find us without having to climb any stairs. We are out in Kodagi Thirumalapura, in the Hesaraghatta area. It’s a bit quieter out here than in the middle of the city, which we actually prefer. The air feels a bit different and there’s more space to breathe. Our office is quite basic. We have a front door that opens right onto the main path, so we see people passing by all day. We do our work from a few desks we’ve pushed together. It’s not a fancy setup, but it serves our purpose. We spend our time working on things that matter to the local community. It’s not always easy and sometimes we run into hurdles with how things are organized, but we keep at it. There isn't a big team here, just a handful of us who care about what happens in Hesaraghatta. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. We just talk to people like normal neighbors. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot to do, and other times we finish early if the work is caught up. It’s a very practical way of living and working. We like that it feels real and grounded in the neighborhood. We just do the best we can with what we have.
