We are located at Number 14 on Pottery Road in Richards Town. It is an interesting part of Bangalore, situated right opposite the Bangalore East Railway Station. You can hear the trains pulling in and out at all hours, which is a sound you just get used to after working here for a week. The neighborhood has a lot of old character with some of the original buildings still standing around us. Our office is a simple place where we manage our hospitality business. We do not have fancy furniture or modern art on the walls. It is just desks, chairs, and a lot of work to get through. We spend our time talking to guests, managing our staff, and making sure the hotels are running like they should. It involves a lot of coordination. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a minute for the generator to kick in. We usually grab some snacks from the small shops nearby in the late afternoon. It feels like a real community here. We know the people who work at the station and the shopkeepers on Pottery Road. We are not trying to impress anyone with a polished image. We just work hard and try to do things the right way. It is a bit old-fashioned perhaps, but it works for us. We have been here for a bit now.
