Uppsala Lifestyle Private Limited is situated on the 1st floor at 16/2 (13) on Indira Nagar 2nd Cross Street. Being on the first floor means we have to carry everything up and down the stairs, which is a bit of a workout every single day. The street outside is usually lined with parked scooters and people walking their dogs. It is a nice neighborhood feel, not too industrial or loud. Inside, we have set up different sections for our lifestyle products and office work. We have some desks near the window where the light is better for looking at new designs and colors. The floor is a bit creaky in some spots when you walk over it, but it doesn't bother us much anymore. We spend a lot of our time talking about what kind of things people might actually like to have in their homes. It isn't a high-pressure environment; we just take things as they come. Sometimes we have tea on the small balcony if the weather is nice enough. We aren't part of some massive chain; we are just here in this one building doing our thing. Our neighbors are mostly families or other small offices, so it’s a friendly atmosphere most days. We keep a logbook for all the visitors, though most days it's just the mailman or someone delivering lunch. We try to keep the place looking decent, but there are always boxes waiting to be opened.
