We work out of the Gopalakrishna Complex, which is a building located just off Residency Road in Bangalore. Our office is on the first floor, at number 45/3. Residency Road is one of those places that is always full of people and cars, so it is quite a busy area to be in. However, the complex itself is an older building and feels a bit more secluded once you are inside. The stairs leading up to the first floor are a bit steep, so you have to watch your step. Our office space is a bit of a mix, with some old wooden furniture and a few newer things we have added over time. It is definitely not a polished or modern-looking space. You can see some wires running along the ceiling and the paint is a bit stained in the corners. We have a small window that looks out toward the back of the building, which lets in a little bit of light. We spend our days here just focused on our work. There is a small shop on the ground floor that sells snacks and tea, and we are there pretty often. We do not have a fancy reception desk or any glossy marketing materials lying around. It is just a practical place where we come to get things done. The atmosphere is very low-key and comfortable for everyone who works here in the city center.
