About THRIYA SILKS PRIVATE LIMITED – Textile in Bengaluru Urban
We spend most of our time at No. 47 in Indiranagar. It is tucked away on 17th A cross. People know this area for its busy streets and cafes but our building is mostly about fabric. We handle silk here. It started small. The floor gets covered in scraps and threads by noon. You can hear the sounds of rolls being moved around. Someone usually has a cup of tea near the window. We get visitors looking for specific patterns or just wanting to see the texture. It is not a huge fancy showroom with lights and mirrors. It is just a workspace where we sort through the stocks. Sometimes the delivery trucks take a while to navigate the narrow turns around 2nd Stage. We manage. The fabric smells like raw silk and dust sometimes. We stay busy with the local orders mostly. If you walk past you might see us checking the fabric under the sunlight. It’s pretty basic. We don't have a big front desk or anything. Just desks and shelves. Sometimes the neighbors pop in to say hello. Most days go by fast because there is always something to fold or pack. Indiranagar is loud but inside here it is mostly the sound of scissors or fabric rustling. We've been at this spot for a bit now. It works for us. We aren't doing anything complicated, just making sure the silk is ready for whoever needs it next.
