The road is often very busy with trucks and people commuting between the different industrial patches and residential areas. Our office is a functional building right on the main stretch. It’s easy for people to find because of the hospital landmark. Inside, it’s just a typical workspace for a team like ours. We have some computers, a few printers, and plenty of chairs for everyone. It’s not a polished corporate office with a receptionist; usually, you just see whoever is closest to the door when you walk in. We spend a lot of time discussing designs and checking on the progress of various jobs we have going on. The area can get a bit dusty because of all the construction and the traffic on the main road, but we’re used to it by now. We usually take our breaks together and talk about things other than work for a bit to clear our heads. It’s a very straightforward way of working. We don't have any big mission statements on the walls, just some calendars and project notes. It’s just us doing our work every day and trying to stay on top of things.
