Our place is located in Goravigere, which is near the Kannamangala Post in the Bangalore East area. It’s a bit far out from the city, almost on the edge where things start to look a bit more like the countryside. Our address is house number 107. We handle vegetables, so being out here makes sense for us. The roads aren't always great, especially when it rains and things get a bit muddy. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning or anything like that. It's just a sturdy building where we sort out the baskets and get them ready for delivery. Most of our work happens in the early hours of the morning when the fresh produce arrives. It can get pretty loud with the crates being moved around, but the neighbors are used to it by now. We are a small team and we don't have anyone doing fancy branding for us. We just focus on making sure the baskets are full and the quality is okay. It’s a lot of physical work, moving bags and boxes all day. Sometimes we have trouble with the local transport, but we usually find a way to fix it. We don't have a website that looks professional or anything. We just take orders and get them out. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living and we like the quietness of East Bangalore.
