Our office is tucked away at No. 5 on 7th C Cross in Ashwini Layout. It's right near the Koramangala Inner Ring Road, so getting here is usually pretty easy if you can avoid the peak hour traffic. It’s a busy part of town, but our specific street is actually quite tucked away and calm. We deal with food products at Swajyot Foods and handle everything that goes along with that. It’s mostly us in a room with some computers and a lot of tea. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It's just a few of us who have been in this line of work for a while. We decided to set up in Koramangala because it’s where a lot of the action is in Bangalore. The office isn't very large, so it can feel a bit full when everyone is in at the same time. We spend a lot of our hours on the phone or emailing suppliers. It’s not the most exciting work to look at, but it’s important to us. We try to keep things simple and honest. If a shipment is late, we say it’s late and try to fix it. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We’re just a local food company trying to do a good job from a small office in Ashwini Layout. We close up early on Saturdays.
