Swadhin Learning Foundation

Swadhin Learning Foundation is based in the Bangalore South area, specifically in Doddanagamangala. Our address is listed as NO-16/1, 16/2 17 226, which can be a bit hard to find if you are not using a map. This area of Karnataka has seen a lot of changes recently with all the new buildings going up. We have been here through much of that growth. Our office is a busy place where we handle various learning initiatives. It is not like a formal school; it is more of a workspace where we coordinate our activities. The staff is small, so we all end up doing things that aren't technically in our job descriptions, like fixing the printer or tidying up the entrance. We have a lot of people from the 560100 area coming in to see what we do. We don't have any glossy brochures to give them, we just talk to them and explain what is happening at the moment. It gets a bit noisy with the construction nearby, but we have gotten used to it. We don't have a big mission statement or anything like that. We just show up every morning and try to be useful to the people who come to us for help. It is straightforward work, and while it isn't always easy, we think it is worth the effort we put in.
