Whitefield is known for all the tech parks and the traffic, but our corner in Vijayanagara is a bit more settled. Being in an apartment building means we have to be mindful of the other residents, so we keep things pretty quiet. The office is basically a living room and a couple of bedrooms that we use for work. It’s got a bit of a lived-in feel, which makes the long hours more tolerable. We handle all the pharmaceutical business from here. There’s usually a stack of papers on the desk and some folders that need filing. We don't have a big reception desk or a lobby. If you come by, you’re basically walking into our workspace. The commute for some of us is a bit of a pain because of the Whitefield roads, but once we get inside 204, it’s okay. We just do what needs to be done. There’s no big philosophy behind it; we just have work to do and this is the place where we do it. It’s a practical arrangement that saves on the high costs of a commercial building. We like the independence of having our own little spot in Akshara Aspire.
