Suma Charitable Foundation

You can find Suma Charitable Foundation at No.224, Sri Hari Krupa, on the 2nd Main in the 6th Block of Jayanagar. Jayanagar is one of those classic Bangalore areas where the streets are mostly numbered and the trees are huge. Our building, Sri Hari Krupa, is a steady place where we spend most of our mornings and afternoons. It is a standard residential-style building that we use for our foundation work. We have a couple of rooms filled with chairs and a big old wooden desk that has been around forever. We don't have a high-tech security system or a fancy coffee bar. We just have a kettle and some tea bags in the corner for when we need a break. Working in the 6th Block is nice because it is relatively calm compared to the main markets. We can focus on our paperwork and the people who come to see us. We don't put out a lot of advertisements or glossy brochures. Most people find us just by hearing about us or seeing the address. It’s a very grounded way to run a charity. We don't have big budgets for decor, so the walls are mostly bare except for a few calendars and some contact lists. It is just a plain, honest workspace where we do the work that needs to be done. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy office, we just want to stay productive.
