Studio Mamama is located over in Cooke Town. You can find us in apartment 203 at Suraj Apartments on 3rd Cross. Dcosta Square is pretty close by if you know the area. It’s a quiet enough street for the most part. We like being in a residential kind of building rather than a big corporate park. It feels more grounded to us. The space is basically a flat that we turned into a workspace. It’s got a kitchen where we make way too much coffee every morning. Sometimes the neighbors see us coming and going with our gear. We try to keep it down, especially in the afternoons when people are resting. Working in Cooke Town is good because it’s got that old Bangalore feel to it. You don’t see that as much anymore in the newer areas. We’ve been here for a while now. The layout of the studio is simple. We have our main tables in the living room area. It’s not a huge setup, but it fits what we do. 3rd Cross can be a bit tight for parking if you have a car, so we usually tell people to watch out for that. We aren't doing anything world-changing, just showing up and doing the work. Usually, things are pretty steady. We have our daily routines. Someone brings snacks, someone else handles the mail. It’s just us. Suraj Apartments is a pretty standard building. Nothing that stands out too much from the outside.
