Our place is at No 8/4, tucked into 8th Cross near the Magadi Road area. It’s right by where people call Gangalooms. Being near Magadi Road means there is always a lot of traffic and dust outside, but inside, it’s all about the spices. We spend our days sorting, cleaning, and packing various items. The smell of chili and turmeric is everywhere; it even gets into your clothes after a while. We have a few machines for grinding, and they make a lot of noise when they’re running. The building itself is nothing special, just a sturdy place that keeps the rain out. We don't have a big staff, just a few local people who live nearby and walk to work. We usually keep the heavy door half-shut to keep the street noise out. There’s a small desk in the corner where we handle the paperwork, but most of the action happens on the floor. Sometimes the neighbors come by if they need a small amount of something for their cooking, and we help them out. It’s a hard-working atmosphere, and by the end of the shift, everyone is ready to go home. We’ve been at this 8th Cross location for a good while now. It’s a practical spot for getting things out to the main road for transport. We don't have any flashy signs, just the address on the door and the smell of spices to let you know you're here.
