Peenya Industrial Area is a loud place. Our office is on the 2nd floor of the Kiadb Quarters, right on the 100 Feet Ring Road. It’s right across from Fouress Engg Company, which is a good landmark if you’re trying to find us. Southern Projects India has been operating out of this spot for a while. We do various project works, mostly stuff that keeps us out on the field rather than sitting at desks all day. The ring road always has trucks moving, so there is a constant hum of engines in the background. It’s an industrial vibe through and through. We don't have a big reception area or anything. It's mostly just desks, stacks of files, and people coming in and out in boots. We handle the groundwork and the planning that goes into these bigger industrial projects. Living and working in Peenya means you get used to the grit. Sometimes the power goes out, or the water is a bit slow, but that’s just part of being in this part of Bangalore. We focus on getting the tasks finished. We aren't looking to be the biggest name out there, just steady and reliable for the folks who know us. There’s a small tea shop downstairs where most of the talk happens. It’s a straightforward way of doing things. No one wears suits here. We just get on with the daily grind. It is just the way we like to work.
