SMR GLOBAL LATEX PRIVATE LIMITED

Our place is located in Mudar Village, specifically at Door No 1 41 1A, Kalarickal House. It’s near the Bajagoli post in Karkala, which is part of the Udupi district. Being in a village like this means we are close to where a lot of the raw materials come from. SMR Global Latex is basically about processing and handling latex. It’s a sticky business, and the smell is quite strong, but it’s what we do every day. The office and the processing area are all part of the same general setup here. We have a small group of people from around the village who help us out. Most mornings start early before it gets too hot, as that’s the best time to handle the liquid latex. Karkala is a nice enough place, though it’s quiet. We don't have many visitors from outside, mainly just the trucks coming to pick up the processed goods. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that. We just focus on the drums and the tanks we have here. Sometimes the machinery breaks down and we have to wait for someone to come from the town to fix it. That’s just part of running a business in a more rural area. We keep things simple and try to make sure we don't waste any of the material we get from the local trees and suppliers. It's a steady life.
