We handle jewelry here, mostly just regular stuff people wear every day. The office isn't anything spectacular, just a functional space where we get the work done. Usually, it's just a small team of us handling the daily tasks. We don't have those big glass windows onto the street since we’re up on the third floor, which actually helps us focus on what we're doing. Folks usually find us through word of mouth or if they live right nearby in the apartment blocks. We don't spend much time on fancy advertising or anything like that. We just show up, open the doors, and deal with whatever gold or silver work comes our way. It’s a practical way to run a business. Somasundarapalya has changed a lot over the years with more buildings popping up everywhere. We've stayed right here through those changes. It’s a steady kind of life. We like the pace of this part of Bangalore. It’s busy but doesn’t feel as chaotic as the very center of the city. We keep the kettle on for tea and just get on with it.
