We are located at No. A/371 in the PIA, specifically 1st Stage on 2nd Main. Anyone who knows this part of Bengaluru knows it is full of big factories and trucks. Sleep Factory is where we handle mattresses and bedding. Our space is basically a large warehouse. Stacks of foam and fabric go almost all the way to the ceiling. It is not the cleanest place since there are always stuffing bits and fabric offcuts on the floor. Most of our time goes into assembling pieces and checking that the stitching is strong. Moving heavy mattresses around all day is physically draining work. We don't have a sales team or anything like that. Usually, one of us just answers the phone while trying to load up a truck. The afternoon heat under the tin roof can be tough, but we have some big fans to move the air. We aren't a giant international company with polished offices. We are just a group of people in the city building something solid. Traffic on the main road often makes our deliveries late, but we do our best. People know where we are if they need something sturdy for their home. It is a very straightforward business. We don't make fancy promises, we just make the product and get it moved out. Every day is a lot of heavy lifting, but we manage to get through it.
