Skylys Foods Private Limited

Skylys Foods is based at #910 /A in the AECS Layout B Block over in Singasandra. We have been here for a while now. It’s a residential-turned-commercial kind of area, so it’s always got a bit of life and noise to it. We focus on food production and packing. Our space isn’t very large, but we make it work with what we have. Most days involve a lot of checking inventory and making sure the machines are doing what they are supposed to do. We don't have a marketing department or a big sales team in suits. It’s just us handling the day-to-day tasks ourselves. Singasandra can get quite congested with traffic on the main roads, so we try to get our deliveries out early in the morning before the roads get completely blocked up. Inside our unit, it’s mostly stainless steel tables and big storage racks. We spend a lot of time on our feet. Sometimes things break down and we have to get our tools out and fix them ourselves. It’s not a glamorous job, but it is what we do to get by. We like being in the AECS Layout because it feels like a real community. You see the same faces every day when you go out for tea. We just keep our heads down and get the work finished. No big speeches or fancy plans, just making sure the food goes out the door like it’s supposed to. It’s a steady pace most weeks and we stay busy.
