Skn Buildcon Private Limited is based out of an office in Marathahalli. Specifically, we are at E-601 in the Akme Ballet complex on the Outer Ring Road. Being in Bangalore, we spend a good chunk of our day just thinking about the traffic outside our windows. The location is convenient for some things but a nightmare during rush hour. Our setup is inside a residential-style building, which makes it feel a bit more relaxed than a cold corporate office. We have our computers and desks spread out in the rooms. Most of what we do involves coordinating building projects across the city. We are often on the phone with suppliers or trying to figure out why a delivery is stuck in another part of town. It is a lot of coordination and checking on details. We don't have a big receptionist area or a shiny sign out front. It’s just a place to work. Sometimes the internet acts up or the power goes out, and we just deal with it like everyone else does. The team is used to the constant hum of the Outer Ring Road. We mostly focus on the technical side of building things and making sure the numbers add up at the end of the month. It’s a straightforward operation. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay on top of the paperwork that piles up on the desks. It is simple work but it takes time.
