Skcvp Constructions Jv Private Limited is situated up on the 4th floor of Gamma Towers. We are part of the Sigma Soft Tech Park in Whitefield, which is a busy spot in Bangalore. Being in a tech park is a bit different for a construction joint venture, but it works for us because of the central location. The view from the 4th floor isn’t bad, although most of the time we are looking at blueprints or spreadsheets rather than out the window. Whitefield Main Road is always packed with cars, so getting to the office can be a bit of a struggle in the mornings. Inside, the atmosphere is pretty focused. We have different teams coming together for these joint ventures, so there is always someone new to talk to or a different problem to solve. We deal with the heavy lifting of construction planning and management. It involves a lot of back-and-forth communication between different partners. We don’t go in for much fluff here. The walls are mostly covered with project schedules and safety reminders. It’s a practical workspace meant for getting things built. Some days are quiet when everyone is out at the construction sites, and other days the office is full of people arguing over technical specs or delivery timelines. We just keep our heads down and focus on the technical side of things, making sure the projects stay on track despite the usual delays that happen in this industry.
