Basavanagudi is one of those parts of Bangalore that still feels like the old days. There are big trees and lots of temples nearby. Being on Sri Ramamandira Road means it is usually a bit quieter than the main markets. We have a small setup inside the apartment complex. It is mostly just a few of us sitting around desks with our laptops. We deal with housing projects, so there is always talk about cement prices or labor issues. It is not always smooth sailing. Sometimes a project gets delayed because of the rain or some permit issue, and we have to explain that to everyone. We don't have a big marketing department. Usually, people find out about us from their neighbors or friends. We take our lunch breaks together and talk about local news or what is happening in the neighborhood. The office is cozy, maybe even a bit cramped when we have a lot of visitors. But it works for us. We like being in this part of town because it is peaceful.
