Shree Guruprasada Diamond and Jewels is situated at No. 442/8 in the 1st N Block of Rajajinagar. We are right on the 1st C Main Road. It’s a busy corner of the neighborhood. We focus on diamonds and various jewelry pieces. The shop isn't huge, but we have enough space for our displays and a small area in the back for the books. Rajajinagar has its own vibe, very traditional but always moving. We fit right in there. We aren't the type to use big words or corporate slogans. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for the day to start. Some days are slow and we spend the time cleaning the glass cases or re-counting the inventory. Other days, we are on our feet until the sun goes down. We don't have a mission statement on the wall. We just want to make sure the math is right and the customers are satisfied with what they see. It’s a straightforward business. Diamonds are tricky things to work with, so we have to be careful and take our time. We like the pace of life here. It’s familiar and comfortable. We’ve known the neighboring shop owners for years, and we all look out for each other. It’s just how we do things in this part of Bangalore. We keep the lights on and the door unlocked for whoever needs us. It's a living, and it's what we know best. We just do the work and then head home.
