Our office for Shree Durgashree Durga Shelters Llp is tucked away in M C Layout, right over in Vijayanagar. If you know the area, we are at 201 on 17th Cross, basically right opposite the BBMP Ward Office. It’s a busy little corner of Bangalore. We’ve been set up here for some time now, dealing with shelters and housing stuff. The 560040 area is quite lively. Being across from the ward office means there is always something going on outside our window. We spend most of our time at our desks or out at sites checking on things. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We help people find places or manage what they already have. Sometimes the tea lady comes by and that’s the highlight of the afternoon. We have a small team, mostly local people who know the streets of Vijayanagar like the back of their hand. Traffic on the cross roads can be a bit much during rush hour, but we manage. We aren't a big corporation with shiny brochures, just a local LLP trying to make a living and help people with their shelter needs. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they were visiting the ward office and saw our name. We try to keep things simple and honest. That’s just the way we like to work here in Bangalore. It's a lot of hard work but we get by.
