SHILPITHA CONSTRUCTIONS LLP

Our office is on the 4th floor at Malleshpalya, right on the 6th cross. It’s a busy part of Bangalore North. We’ve been here at Flat No. 401 for a while now. Shilpitha Constructions is basically a few of us who grew up around here and decided to get into the building trade. It’s not always easy, especially when prices for steel or cement go up without warning. We deal with that stuff every day. Usually, the phone is ringing about some plumber not showing up or a truck being stuck in traffic. We don't have a big HR department or fancy lunchroom. We just drink tea at the corner shop and talk about the current project. Most of our work is in this part of town. People know us by word of mouth mostly. We don’t spend money on billboards. We'd rather just put that into the materials. The 5th main road gets pretty crowded during rush hour, so we try to get to the sites early. It's a lot of practical thinking. You learn something new on every building, like how the soil behaves or how to fit a staircase into a tight spot. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to build decent places for people to live. If you walk up to the 4th floor, you’ll see our door. It’s usually open and there is usually a blueprint spread out on the table.
