Shekar Naik Foundation

Our office is located at Number 107 in Anand Enclave, which is part of Royal County in Gottigere. It’s out in J P Nagar 8th Phase, so it’s a bit away from the main city center of Bangalore, which actually makes it a little quieter than other spots. We have a simple setup here. Most of our time is spent on the ground, but this is where the planning happens. The foundation bears a name that means a lot to us, and we try to live up to it by staying busy and staying honest about what we can actually do. We don't have a huge staff, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, from cleaning the office to writing reports. The commute for some of us is quite long, but being here in Gottigere feels right. We have some plants by the window that we try to keep alive, and there’s always a stack of documents that needs sorting. We don't go in for big marketing campaigns or anything like that. We just focus on the people who come to us for help. It’s a practical environment. We don’t have any fancy mission statements plastered on the walls. We just have a calendar and a to-do list that never seems to get shorter. It’s a lot of hard work and sometimes it’s frustrating, but we keep showing up every morning because the work matters.
