If you head over to BEL 1st Stage in Bangalore, you’ll find us on Dwaraka Road. We are in building F-381, specifically on the second floor. It’s a bit of a climb up, but it’s a quiet space once you get inside. This part of Bangalore has a lot of history with the BEL factory nearby, and the people living here are mostly families who have been around for years. Our office reflects that—it’s functional and doesn't have any unnecessary polish. We have some wooden desks, plenty of paper, and the usual office supplies. Dealing with chits here means we see a lot of the same people every month. We sit and go through the collections, updating the files as we go. It’s a lot of manual entry, which keeps us busy. Sometimes we stand out on the small balcony to get some fresh air and watch the cars go by on Dwaraka Road. It’s a steady kind of work. We aren’t trying to be some big financial institution; we’re just a local chit fund office for the 560091 area. We speak the local language and keep things very basic. If someone has a problem, they just walk up to the second floor and we talk it out across the desk. There’s no fancy lobby or receptionist, just the people who do the work and the members who come to see us.
