SAMARTHA FARMS AND RESORTS PRIVATE LIMITED

We’re based right on M G Road in Bangalore, up on the 10th floor of Mittal Towers. Our office is in the B Wing, room 1007. Even though M G Road is known for being fancy and busy, our actual day-to-day is pretty grounded. We deal with farms and resorts, so we spend a lot of our time talking about land, crops, and how to keep the resort properties looking good for visitors. It’s a bit of a contrast being in a high-rise building while thinking about farm life. We’ve got a small team here in the office. Most of the time we are looking at maps or talking to the guys who are actually out at the farm sites. It gets pretty hectic during the season when everyone wants to head out of the city to get some fresh air. We aren't a giant corporation with hundreds of people; it’s just a handful of us making sure the logistics work out. The 10th floor gives us a decent view of the city, but we don't spend much time looking out the window. There is always a pile of paperwork or someone on the line needing help with a booking. We don't go in for big mission statements or anything like that. We just want to make sure the farms are productive and the resorts are ready for people. It’s a lot of juggling different tasks, but we enjoy the challenge of keeping it all going from right here on M G Road.
