Sagh'Ic Animist Foundation

Our place is at No. 3, 3rd Main in Jayamahal Extension. It's tucked away in Benson Town, which is a bit of an older, quieter part of Bangalore North. Sagh'Ic Animist Foundation has its roots here. The building is an older style, which we quite like. It has more character than the new glass buildings you see everywhere. We have a small garden area out front that we try to keep tidy, though the weeds sometimes get ahead of us. Inside, it’s a mix of old furniture and some computers. We don't have a formal dress code or anything like that. We just come in and do what needs to be done. The neighborhood is full of old trees and quiet streets, so it’s a good place for thinking. We have a few regular visitors who stop by for a chat. We try to keep things low-key. We aren't interested in being some big corporate entity. We just want to focus on our specific interests and manage the foundation's affairs. Sometimes the plumbing gives us trouble, or we have to chase away a stray cat, but that's just life here. It’s a very human way to work. We take things one day at a time and don't worry too much about looking perfect to the outside world. There is always a pot of tea going and some papers to sort through. It's just home for us. We stay until the work is finished.
