Safety Monitor Research Foundation

We are based in Flat 413 at DSR Woodwinds, which is in Doddakanahalli along Sarjapur Road. Being on Sarjapur Road means we are right in the middle of all the traffic and the IT bustle, but once you get inside the apartment complex, it gets a lot quieter. Our office is just this one flat. We’ve set it up with the basics—desks, a few computers, and a lot of files piled up. It’s not a corporate headquarters with a lobby or a receptionist. It’s just where we work. Bangalore is a busy city, and this area is especially crowded these days. Getting to the office can take a while if the traffic is bad on the main road, which it usually is. We do a lot of research and monitoring from here. It’s a small team, maybe just three or four of us on a busy day. We don’t have a big budget for fancy furniture or decor. We just use what we have. It’s a functional space. Sometimes we have meetings in the living room area of the flat. It’s a bit informal, but it works for what we do. DSR Woodwinds is a nice enough place, and having the foundation here keeps things simple for us. We don’t have to worry about a separate commercial lease. We just focus on the research and the data we are trying to collect for the foundation. It’s just our daily grind and we stick to it.
