Our place is in Devarachikanahalli, just opposite the Sri Rama Temple. It’s a recognizable spot for anyone living around the IIM Post area. We have been operating as Saap Contractors for some time now. Most of our days are spent coordinating with workers and checking on sites. It’s not always easy, things go wrong or deliveries get delayed, but we deal with it. We aren't big on corporate talk or big presentations. We’d rather just talk about the job and get it started. The office is tucked away in the Battle Gear building. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded with all the files and blueprints lying around. We’ve worked on a variety of things over the years. Some projects are small, others take months of planning and labor. We just take it as it comes. It's a local business through and through. We know the neighborhood well and have seen it change quite a bit lately. There is always a lot of noise from the temple and the street, but we don't mind it much. It makes the day go by faster. We are usually here from early morning until the sun goes down. It’s hard work, but it is what we know how to do. We just want to finish the day knowing we did what we were supposed to. Sometimes we have to stay late to fix a mistake, but we don't complain about it. It’s just part of the trade.
