Rockworld Apparel India Private Limited is situated out in Ramanagar, specifically on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the Lakshmi Complex on B M Road in Ijoor. It’s a bit of a drive from the main Bangalore city, but we like it out here in the Bangalore Rural area. Ramanagar is famous for its hills and silk, and we’ve fit right into that landscape. Our space in the Lakshmi Complex is actually quite large since we have two whole floors to work with. The 2nd floor is mostly where the machines and the bulk of the stock sit, while the 3rd floor is where we handle the administrative side of things. It’s a lot of climbing up and down throughout the day, which keeps us on our toes. The view from the top floor overlooks B M Road, which is always busy with people traveling between Bangalore and Mysore. We’ve got a solid team of local people from the Ijoor area working with us. We don't have any fancy HR policies or big corporate slogans. We just show up, do the work, and go home to our families. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow out here, which can be frustrating when we’re trying to send emails, but we manage. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place. We value the fact that we can provide work for people in the local community without having to be in the middle of the city.
