Rmm Cashews Private Limited

We run Rmm Cashews Private Limited from a ground floor spot at No. 18/4 in the Nanjappa Compound. It's on the old Panchayata Road in Yeshwanthpur. If you know this part of Bangalore, you know it’s always crowded and moving. We chose this location because it’s close to the markets. Inside, it’s mostly bags of cashews piled up. We spend a lot of time sorting through them. It’s a dusty job sometimes, but someone has to do it. There are about five or six of us here most days. We don't have fancy office chairs; it's mostly stools and packing tables. We handle everything from receiving the raw nuts to getting them ready for whoever bought them. The old Panchayata Road is a bit narrow, so getting trucks in and out is a whole task in itself. We usually have to time it right or the traffic gets backed up. It’s just how things go in Yeshwanthpur. We've been at this for a bit now and we know the routine. It’s not glamorous, just a lot of lifting and checking the nuts. We keep the place as clean as we can, but with cashews, there's always something to sweep up. We’re just a local business trying to keep the supply moving. We don't do much advertising, mostly just word of mouth and people seeing us here. It’s a simple life and it keeps us working hard.
