Rkbn Construction is based right on the ground floor at 112/2 on B.M. Road. It’s a pretty straightforward place. We’ve got a small office where we keep all our tools and papers. If you’re driving down B.M. Road, you might miss us if you’re going too fast, but we’ve been here long enough that most of the locals know where we are. We do a lot of different building jobs, mostly small stuff around the area. It’s not glamorous work. There is usually a bit of dust on the desks and the phone rings quite a bit with people asking about repairs or new walls. We don't have any fancy posters on the walls about our vision or anything. We just show up, look at the site, and get to work. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to get things done on schedule, but we try our best to keep things moving. It’s just a handful of us working here. We know the area well and we use the same suppliers for years because we trust them. Being on the ground floor makes it easy for people to just wander in and ask a question. We like that. It keeps us busy and connected to what’s happening on the street. No big corporate meetings here, just a lot of talk about gravel and labor. We are just local people building for other local people. It's not a complicated setup, just hard work and some regular faces you see every day.
