Responsive Care Foundation

Our office is tucked away in Bangalore North, over in RK Hegde Nagar at the 2nd Cross and 2nd Main. We get our mail at the SRK Post office nearby. It is a bit of a residential feel around here, which we like because it keeps things feeling grounded. We named ourselves Responsive Care Foundation because we wanted to be there when things come up, but we don't like to brag about it. The space we work in is modest. We have a couple of desks, some old filing cabinets, and a lot of passion for what we do. The staff is just a handful of local people who live not too far away. We usually walk or take a short scooter ride to get here in the morning. The neighborhood is growing fast, so there is always construction noise somewhere in the distance. We spend a lot of our time just organizing things and making sure we are ready for whatever needs doing in the community. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We wear regular clothes and talk like normal people. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot to finish, but usually, we head home when the sun starts to go down. It’s a steady rhythm of work that doesn't need much explanation. We are just here at our desks in Hegde Nagar, doing what needs to be done. The local chai wallah knows our order by now.
