Redrobin Welfare Foundation

You can find us on the ground floor at 526 Vishweshwaraiah Road in Arakere. It’s part of the BTS Layout in Bangalore South. Being on the ground floor is handy because people can just walk in without having to deal with stairs or elevators. We have a small sign outside but we aren’t the type to have big neon lights or anything like that. The area is quite lived-in, and you hear the usual sounds of the neighborhood throughout the day—scooters going by, vendors calling out, and kids playing nearby. Inside, it is a bit cluttered with papers and supplies, but we know where everything is. We started the Redrobin Welfare Foundation just to have a hub for our activities here in Arakere. There is usually a pot of tea going and someone is always on the phone or writing something down. We don’t have fancy office chairs or a receptionist. If someone walks in, whoever is closest to the door says hello. It’s a very practical way of working. We deal with the daily ups and downs of running a small foundation in a big city like Bangalore. Some weeks are slow and others are completely packed with tasks. We just take it as it comes and try to be helpful to the folks who reach out to us. It is just a few of us putting in the hours and making sure we get the paperwork done correctly every single time.
